Community Involvement

Over 40 Years of Community Commitment

For the Boliek family, Leesburg isn’t just a place of business—it’s home. They have been actively engaged in the community for over a century, supporting local events and initiatives.

“We believe in giving back,” says Bert Boliek, General Manager. “Our team participates in local festivals, charity cook-offs, and service projects. Whether it’s the Leesburg Center for the Arts or community service clubs, we are intentional about making a positive impact.”

One of the company’s most cherished initiatives is Pedal for Paws, an annual charity bike ride benefiting the Humane Society of Lake County.

“This event honors my sister’s memory while raising funds to support rescue animals”

The event was founded in memory of Nandi Boliek, the late sister of Lake Glass & Mirror’s General Manager, Bert Boliek.

Nandi was an avid animal lover who cared deeply about giving back to the community. Her legacy inspired the creation of Pedal for Paws, which seamlessly merges her two passions: a love for nature and outdoor activity, and a commitment to animal welfare.

With a steadfast dedication to quality, service, and community, Lake Glass & Mirror continues to build on its reputation as a trusted leader in the glass industry.
